Start from the Lower Ab

The foundation of singing is breathing.

Singing requires strong, controlled breathing.

For now breath in through your mouth. Later experiment with breathing in through your nose or a combination of nose and mouth.

Fill from the bottom. Then Middle. Then top under the shoulder blades.

Place your hands in the soft spot between the ribs and the hip bone.

Fill 360 degrees.

Singing requires a strong foundation.

Shallow breathing will lead to frustration.


Expansion of 360 degrees, is the key. See photo above.

Sip your air. Don't gulp.

Practice this until it is second nature.

You can even practice when you're talking.
